Yerin is the companion of Wei Shi Lindon and the apprentice of the Sage of The Endless Sword. She is currently an Underlady on the Path of the Endless Sword and, following the death of her master, the only follower of that path. She is affiliated with House Arelius, the Skysworn, Akura Clan and the Reaper Division.
<blockquote>Yerin herself wasn't sure how old she was, <br>but twenty had to be about right.<br>- Uncrowned</blockquote> Yerin doesn’t know her exact date-of-birth, because of her traumatic childhood. She thinks she’s about a year older than Lindon. In Uncrowned, book 8, Naru Saeya suggests she is about 20.

Appearance
In book 1, Unsouled, Yerin is very thin, and shorter than Lindon. She’s scruffy, like she has spent the past weeks camped out in the woods. She cuts her own hair with sword madra in a perfectly straight line to minimize its interference in combat. Initially, she wears a tattered black sacred artist's robe with a thick red cord tied around her waist, made of blood madra. Her "uninvited guest". Her skin is covered in thin white scars from practicing the Endless Sword technique. After she advances to Underlady, her body is reforged in soulfire and her scars disappear. Encouraged by Akura Mercy and Lindon, she allows her hair to grow past her shoulders but continues to cut her bangs short and straight.
Personality
Yerin was dedicated to her beloved master, the Sage of the Endless Sword. Now that he’s dead, she clings to his teachings and his memory, seeking to succeed him as the next Sage of the Endless Sword, something that would come to hold her back. After her master was murdered in Sacred Valley she’s been suspicious of supposedly kindly strangers. However, once she gives her trust, she is totally loyal, especially to Lindon. She is an intense person, brave but not showy, without an ounce of self-pity. Her words are few but honest; her speech is habitually pithy and straightforward, but not mean-spirited. She doesn’t know when she was born. She is illiterate but she is intelligent and frequently comes up with dry-as-dust analogies, metaphors and similes. She hates and fears her Blood Shadow, a piece of the The Bleeding Phoenix, as it has murdered many innocent people, including her entire family.
Her Fear
<br />She fears being alone. She lost her entire family at about age 7 to a hungry Blood Shadow (see Skysworn). She lost her master The Sword Sage at about age 16 or 17. She doesn’t want to lose anyone else that she calls friend or family. She values her relationships with Lindon, Akura Mercy, Ziel, Little Blue, Orthos the Sacred Beast, and Eithan Arelius.

Her Lord-Realm Revelations
*Underlady — Her personal revelation is that she first started practicing the sacred arts because she wanted to be strong enough to never again lose the one she loves and be left behind, or leave them behind.(Underlord, book 6)
*Overlady — Her Overlord revelation was accepting that she is not her master, the Sword Sage. She cherishes his memory, but she is her own selfws.
*Archlady —
Biography
Yerin was known to be a genius in her hometown before everyone was slaughtered by a Blood Shadow belonging to The Bleeding Phoenix. She was only seven years old.<blockquote> The entire purpose of the Blood Shadow was to steal power by killing or possessing others and bring that power back to the Bleeding Phoenix, but Yerin hadn’t allowed hers to escape. Not since it had killed her parents.ws</blockquote>

At only seven years old, she held the bloody thing back and stopped it from attempting to kill the Sage of the Endless Sword. Although he was completely safe, he was impressed by her willpower and natural talent, and chose to take her on as his apprentice. He challenged her and caused her many injuries and scars, taking her around the continent for training. When Yerin was about 16 or 17, he took her to Sacred Valley and went into the Labyrinth via the Ancestor’s Tomb on Mount Samara, intending to ask Subject One how to free her of her Blood Shadow. However, treacherous elders and jades repeatedly poisoned and then eventually ambushed and killed him, hoping to rob his treasures of his corpse. After his assassination at the hands of the Heaven's Glory sect, she was driven out of the temple they were using as a base. She met Wei Shi Lindon, avenged her master, and used his Remnant to ascend from Jade to Lowgold. About a month later, she met Eithan Arelius in the Desolate Wilds of the Blackflame Empire. He has guided her and Lindon ever since then. She joined the Skysworn (Organization) to fight Redmoon Hall, a Dreadgod cult. She competed in the 18th Uncrowned King Tournament. She also helped evacuate Sacred Valley and battled many hunger madra monsters and even a monarch in the Labyrinth.<br>
Powers and Techniques
Yerin is a top-notch sacred artist on the Path of Endless Sword who is consistently able to defeat opponents of a higher level of advancement, or multiple opponents of her level. After she merges with her Blood Shadow, she can do even more.

Notable Opponents and Duels
While a Lowgold in Soulsmith, Yerin was able to defeat 3 other Lowgolds who tried to attack Lindon. In Blackflame, Yerin as a new Highgold was able to give Jai Long, a Truegold, fear for his own safety until he decided to escape. As a Truegold in Underlord, Yerin (along with her newly advanced Blood Shadow clone) was able to simultaneously fight attackers from the Seishen Kingdom, Underlord Prince Kiro and Underlady gardener Meira. Her lifeline was cut and she was badly depleted. Later in the book, she again dueled the Seishen Underlady, advancing to Underlady herself and winning.

Tournament Duels
In the 18th Uncrowned King Tournament Yerin duels several contenders. Most notably she battled blindfolded against Altavian Arelius from House Arelius. At the end of book 7, she gave her all against her best friend Wei Shi Lindon Arelius. In book 8, she defeats Calan Archer from the Stormcallers and with Ruby’s help, she outperforms Yan Shoumei and her monstrous Blood Shadow Crusher.
<br />Finally, as an Overlady-Herald, she fuses with Ruby and wins the crown against the gold dragon Sopharanatothws.
<blockquote> The Ninecloud Soul’s voice leaked in from outside. “. . .witnessing history here today! Sacred artists one and all, bear witness to the eighteenth Uncrowned King!” (Wintersteel chapter 25)</blockquote>
Innate Abilities
Steelborn Iron Body: Yerin's special Iron Body grants her superhuman strength dramatically beyond that of a normal Iron Body.

Sword Sage's Remnant: Yerin is bonded to the Sage of the Endless Sword's remnant. This grants her multiple other retractable limbs that end in swords, as well as access to some of the Sage's memories.

Blood Shadow: In Underlord, Yerin gains the ability to release her Blood Shadow, who is able to fight as an independent copy of her with all of her skills and abilities. She is well coordinated with her Blood Shadow.

Netherclaw — First employed to defeat Yan Shoumei via her Blood Shadow Ruby, in book 8, Wintersteel. <blockquote> The black sword was called Netherclaw, named for the beast that guarded the Netherworld in the mythology of some culture Yerin didn’t care about. It was used by a slaughter artist centuries ago, an Archlord on a Path of blood and sword madra that had murdered anyone he came across to harvest their aura. He had eventually been stopped by a Sage…the Sage of Red Faith, in fact, though Yerin had a hard time imagining him saving anyone’s life, even by accident. Its binding was an advanced Forger technique, filled with the will of the murderer who had left it behind. Yerin had tried to activate it herself, but her compatibility with the sword was pitiful. The only reason she was able to use her master’s sword was her long history with it, and her familiarity with its power. Ruby could use the technique just fine, but she couldn’t survive doing it. Until now. Her copy of Yerin’s Diamond Veins had finally progressed far enough, her body was solid, and the spirit well had strengthened her madra. Scarlet madra Forged in lines over Ruby’s sword, weaving itself strand by strand, growing in power and intensity.ws</blockquote>

When Yerin merges with Ruby and advances to Herald at Overlady, Netherclaw becomes a truly terrifying weapon, used to defeat the gold dragon Sopharanatoth and win the 18th Uncrowned King Tournament, and Penancews.
Moonlight Bridge — a tournament prize for making it to the finals. She can travel anywhere instantly. <blockquote> “The Moonlight Bridge!” the Soul announced, and for some reason everyone cheered at the construct’s name. “This Divine Treasure allows near-instant transportation anywhere in the world! Special credit is given to Reigan Shen. . . “There are some restrictions, of course, on such a miraculous power!” the Ninecloud Soul went on, and Yerin quenched her expectations. “Yerin cannot bring anyone along for the ride, and the Treasure cannot be used in quick succession. If she moves all the way around the world, the Moonlight Bridge can take up to three days to recover. But traveling within sight? That, she can do as much as she likes. Imagine the possibilities!” (Wintersteel chapter 22)</blockquote>

<br />

Path of the Endless Sword
Yerin was taught the Path of the Endless Sword by The Sword Sage, Adama.

Path Techniques
*Flowing Sword (Enforcer): sword aura is collected from the surrounding area with every movement of the sword. This technique strengthens Yerin's strikes as the fight progresses.
*Rippling Sword (Striker)sends out a wave of sword aura it can be launched from her remnant arms at her back
*Endless Sword (Ruler): waves of sword madra emanate from Yerin, cutting anyone and anything caught nearby. Any bladed edge caught in this technique will emit sword madra of its own, setting up a potentially deadly chain reaction. In Ghostwater, Yerin learns to control this better. <blockquote> Pain erupted all over Yerin’s body as her own flesh turned against her, seized by Yan Shoumei’s own Ruler technique. She’d burned soulfire for this, as it affected Yerin quickly, making her muscles twitch and her heart convulse. But Yerin didn’t need to move her body. Aura echoed from the black sword that had fallen at Yan Shoumei’s feet. The Endless Sword rang out, opening the Redmoon artist’s throat. (Wintersteel chapter 21)</blockquote>
* Frozen Blade technique — learned from the Winter Sage Min Shuei, who forged the wintersteel blade for Adama. <blockquote> Frozen Blade madra and icy aura erupted from her sword. White blades hung in the air like snowflakes as restrictive force enveloped them all. Yerin had an easier time controlling the madra than she had before, but it was still like wrapping her arms around the neck of a mad bull and trying to steer. (Wintersteel chapter 21) </blockquote>
Obtaining The Zenith Cannon
It's been months after the events of The Engineer, and the crew of The Last Horizon has spent that time cleaning up the Iron Legion and other threats. Mell has continued progress on the search for the Zenith Cannon, and the crew holds a meeting to discuss the new intel. The Zenith Cannon has been traced back to be in the care of Benri Vallenar, and with some convincing Varic plans call his father. The meeting ends when Raion receives a call. The Green Titan Knight is alive, after having been infected with the parasites that wiped out the other Knights five years prior when they killed Neth'terith and drove out the D’Niss from the galaxy.

Varic and Raion travel to the Titan Force headquarters to meet with the creator of the Divine Titans, Doctor Cryce. Parryl Cryce, the aforementioned Green Knight, has been in a coma since her infestation, and Doctor Cryce is growing desperate. Varic proposes a ritual requiring the Heart of Visiria, the planetary treasure of Visiria, that can save her, and suggests Raion to go after it. On Visiria, Raion and Varic meet with Raion’s brother, Ryzer, who works for the planetary government. They convince him to help them obtain the Heart, by working their way through Visiri Senators. Varic trusts them with the task and returns to the ship, where Sola reports a potential new enemy. They head out in a shuttle to check out the threat. While on route, Varic calls his father to discuss the Zenith Cannon, and a meeting is considered. Before reaching their destination, Varic’s Cosmic Path leads their shuttle out of Subspace early. While trying to find the cause, Varic’s spell is caught by Sel’miroth, and she emerges from Subspace along with her soldiers. Varic and Sola escape after a failed attempt to kill her.

Back on The Last Horizon, Varic calls Raion to tell him of the return of the D'Niss. He convinces Raion to continue his mission, while they move to deal with the D’Niss. After the call, the crew suddenly receives an emergency transmission from the Karoshan royal guard, and Shyrax informs them that some ships had been taken over by traitors compelled by the Perfected. The crew aids Shyrax in taking care of the attackers, and once back on The Last Horizon, Mell shares the intel she found of the Galactic Union supporting the King Regent Felrex. The crew decides to continue pursuing the Zenith Cannon for now.

Benri meets with Varic and The Last Horizon. To Varic’s dismay, the Cannon, or Mortal Edict, is awake. They agree that Edict should stay with the crew, but her presence results in Horizon and Shadow Ark complaining. Shyrax finally makes the choice to become Shadow Ark’s guardian. With the Zenith Colony now activated, the Karoshan rebels fleet and D’Niss refugees settle down inside Ark.

Raion and the Visiria Government
While the Last Horizon crew deals with the D’Niss incursion, Raion and Ryzar meet with the Planetary Governor at the Prime Arena of Visiria. The Governor, Nelula Seiren, reveals her and the Senator’s disappointment with Raion’s actions as part of the Last Horizon crew. She insists on Raion fighting with representatives of the Senators to earn Visiria’s trust. Raion realizes it's a trap, but decides to accept. After defeating the first representative fighter, Raion learns that he must beat at least seven opponents in a row, one for each Senator. Believing he can overcome the challenge, he continues to fight and win rounds, making it through the seventh. Governor Seiren calls for more opponents and rounds continue.

On the other side of the galaxy, Varic awakens with a premonition of danger. Realizing Raion is in danger, he orders the ship to enter Subspace immediately to reach Raion.

Ryzer and Governor Seiren observe a bloodied and unconscious Raion on the ground. In a hologram, King Felrex praises them before leaving, and Raion is taken to medical moments before Varic teleports nearby. Though his demeanor is mild, storm clouds begin to roll above them as Varic watches the footage of Raion’s fight. Varic declares that he could pick up the challenge where Raion left off. The Governor tries to dissuade him, but after some provocation, Varic challenges the Senators. Varic beats all the Senator representatives using his various magics. He then challenges the Governor herself, threatening her and Visiria. Releasing her, he turns to threaten Ryzer instead. But before Varic follows through on that threat, an injured Raion hobbles inside and stops him.

Healing Parryl and the D’Niss Invasion of The Visiri System
Back on The Last Horizon, Raion learns the Heart of Visiria wasn’t obtained, and tries to get up to continue the mission. He is sedated, and Varic reports back to the crew on Raion’s condition. They take into account their current situation, with the ship surrounded by the Visiria fleet and the Perfected soon to arrive. The situation worsens when Mell suddenly announces the arrival of D’Niss. They receive a transmission from the King Regent Felrex, inviting Varic and Shyrax aboard his flagship. Varic offers to arrive after the D’Niss are dealt with and Felrex eventually agrees. Felrex disconnects, and Varic assures the crew that the Karoshans won’t be able to win against the D’Niss.

Watching the battle between the Karoshans and Hesh’ellik, Varic notices the Karoshan flagship begins to recklessly advance forward. The flagship releases a drop pod, which then releases a powerful Combat Art, splitting Hesh’ellik into two. He realises the attack came from multiple Perfected and recognizes the opportunity to strike. Unfortunately, Horizon finds herself blocked from teleporting them onboard. Two more D’Niss warp into the system, and Varic now knows that this was a trap meant for The Last Horizon. They try to force their way through the Visiri fleet to dive into Subspace, minimizing as many casualties as possible. Omega takes Mortal Edict with him to board and take down ships, but loses her when he is defeated by Zyrana, one of the Perfected. Varic is forced to release his protection spells on the ship to help Shyrax, who was also boarding ships, when another D’Niss prepares to warp into the system. He realises the battle is lost, with the D’Niss there to take the Visiria system, and allows Sola to kill their way through the trap. Before The Last Horizon dives into Subspace, Varic teleports to Visiria, and makes Governor Seiren reluctantly hands over the Heart of Visiria.

Aboard the ship again, Varic reassures the crew that they hadn’t lost. After all, they only need hours to recuperate, while their enemies need more time for their plans. They start by heading towards the Titan Force headquarters, where Varic conducts the ritual to heal Parryl. He convinces Cryce into giving the headquarters to Shadow Ark.

The Last Horizon returns to the Visiri system with her full fleet. The system is infested with D’Niss, and the ritual to summon the Swarm-Queen has started. With the crew working in cohesion, they destroy Zyn’tharak and kill Xarro'kesh with Worldslayer. However, Varic notices that the spell to summon Esh’kinnar was still too stable. He takes out Eurias and begins to directly seal out the spell, only to realize that Alazar is aiding the D’Niss. Varic calls for Shyrax’s help, and together they end the summoning spell, but are too late to stop Esh’kinnaar from entering their dimension. Varic orders a retreat to return later with reinforcements, and is horrified to learn that Raion already went to Shadow Ark to enter his Divine Titan.

Defeating Esh’kinnaar
Before Raion launches out in his Titan, Varic appears before him. He tries and fails to convince Raion to stop. Determined to not let Raion die as he did in his previous life, Varic turns to leave. Suddenly, the Blue Divine Titan awakens, somehow remembering Varic. With new options available, Varic prepares to fight in the Titan. Varic and the crew come up with a plan to fight Esh’Kinaar in their current state. Varic starts fighting his way through the horde of insectoid soldiers, and upon seeing him in the Blue Titan, Raion eagerly begins to follow the plan again. Varic attacks, seeing how far he can push the Blue Titan. He does significant damage to Esh’Kinaar, yet she refuses to move from her position over the sun. With the Titans limited by fuel, they decide to go all out and hit her as hard as they can. They determine Esh’kinaar is hiding a cocoon. After she launches her special attack, Varic clones Sola with Worldslayer, and with only a second to spare, Esh’kinaar is hit six times. With the Swarm-Queen dead, it is decided that Raion and Varic should break the cocoon. They hit the cocoon together, breaking it and releasing a wave of destructive energy. The spell hits Varic and Raion, the magic trying to consume their energy. Varic withdraws after the attack when he is suddenly attacked by a new Swarm Queen, one with the magic of death, left behind from the cocoon. Horizon teleports him out just before the Blue Titan is split into two.

The Red Divine Titan starts to clash with her, causing Raion consciousness to sink further into the Titan. Varic puts together a plan to stop it, putting Raion’s friends and family on call from across the galaxy. From their friendship channeling through Raion, he lands a devastating attack on the new Swarm Queen, allowing Varic to seal her away with Absolute Burial.

After the fight, Horizon complains to him about his choice to throw the bodies of both Swarm-Queens into a sun. Varic wonders what threats the Aether has prepared him for, and plans to strike at Solstice next. Meanwhile, across the galaxy, Benri Vallenar receives a call from the Zenith Processor, inviting him to Solstice.
Everyone was distraught over being forced to leave Sacred Valley. Mercy offered to send people back using the teleportation anchor she left there.

Suriel watched Lindon’s life before going to face the Mad King and considered the fact that either of them might die soon. Her Presence suggested she communicate with him, which she agreed to.

Lindon found himself in a cozy room to talk to Suriel. She advised him that it is impossible to save everyone and he has already saved Sacred Valley in a manner of speaking. She also showed him some of his possible futures. Suriel returned him and he decided to advance to Overlord to help him against the Titan. Then, he teleported back to Sacred Valley without taking anyone else.

Jai Long resisted the bloodspawn, knowing he was close to death. Lindon arrived and saved him and Chen.
Knowing the Perfected will contact soon, Varic talks Shyrax down to let him take the call. As they wait for the call, the Visiri fleet grows and begins powering up their weapons. They finally receive a transmission from the King Regent Felrex, inviting Varic and Shyrax aboard his flagship. Varic turns him down on account of the D’Niss’ arrival, but offers to arrive after they were dealt with, to Felrex’s disapproval. Felrex disconnects, and Varic assures the crew that the Karoshans won’t be able to win against the D’Niss.
In Another Life

The Titan Force, having been extremely famous in their heyday, quickly found replacements for the retired and deceased Titan Knights. Despite getting to know the new Knights better than the original three, Varic and Raion remained closer to each other from their mutual experiences and understanding.

Eventually, after years of tracking down Esh’kinaar, they encountered her lurking in a civilized system in Dark Space. Alongside her were the three surviving members of the Seven Calamities, filling the system with D’Niss soldiers. Immediately realising they emerged in a trap, Raion calls for a retreat. Esh’kinaar remains slowly feeding on the star while the three Calamities send their forces against them. After an intense battle with the five Knights fighting to protect the fleet, they manage a retreat with minimal casualties. A celebration is held, but after the party Varic and Raion estimate Esh’kinaar’s strength, and how far she was from reaching goal. They both came to the conclusion that they had to strike first.
;Plot Summary
The crew watches the battle between the Karoshans and Hesh’ellik, the Infester. Varic invites Mariala on the bridge to let her observe Hesh’ellik’s fortune magic. He quizzes her on the situation as it unfolds. They observe as the magic causes holes in the Karoshan’s defenses, and Varic teaches her what she can do if she were in that situation. As they watch however, the Karoshan flagship moves forward. Recognizing the recklessness in the behavior, Varic and Shyrax discuss their potential intentions. Varic orders Horizon to send him to the Heart of Visiria, while Shyrax argues that they should take the chance to attack. Varic decides to act to neutralize the Perfected and the D’Niss while minimizing damage to the Visiri or Karoshans, but before any action is taken, the flagship releases a drop-pod. From it, a powerful Combat Art is released, splitting Hesh’ellik into two. Realising the attack came from multiple Perfected, Varic orders Horizon to take them now. Horizon finds herself unable to, and Varic watches in despair as two more D’Niss warp into the system, understanding now that this was a trap meant for The Last Horizon.
After docking and discussing the situation with the Visiri captain, a call announces that there has been a boarder. Zyrana makes her way to the call’s location, where she recognizes Omega. A shoot-out begins, and Zyrana prepares a spell that catches all of Omega’s shots. He prepares to break through it, so Zyrana activates her Aethertech that opens a rupture in Subspace. Omega attempts to flee and Zyrana activates the Aethertech again. After a fierce fight between him and the rupture, Omega manages to flee, but not without scattering his Subspace inventory. Shyrax POV: Aboard a Visiri vessel, Shyrax orders the Visiri captain to take her the Perfected that had just boarded. They make their way to the docking bay where the Perfected had chosen to wait. Shyrax faces her opponent, Chethriss, the Perfected Blade, knowing holding back would mean losing.

Varic POV: Meanwhile, on The Last Horizon, Varic channels protective barriers throughout Horizon, while Sola carefully shoots the Visiri ships. The shots don’t do much damage, instead providing more coverage for the crew boarding the ships. Onboard, Horizon begins playing footage from Shyrax and Omega. Varic tries adding his thoughts to the conversation, but is interrupted when enemy spellcasters push back against his spell. He focuses more on the spell, when Omega suddenly splatters onto the bridge. Omega is enraged that Mortal Edict was taken. Varic steals a glance at the footage, and sees Shyrax struggle against her opponent. He releases the protection spell, instead hitting a binding spell against her opponent. Shyrax immediately takes the opportunity and kills him, and is taken to the next ship. Mell joins her in a deco-bot. Varic takes another glance at the battle, and realizes it has been lost when another D’Niss prepares to warp into the system. Knowing the D’Niss were there to take the Visiria system, Varic allows Sola to kill their way through the trap.

Aboard the ship again, the crew makes it to Subspace with some struggle. Varic realizes how defeated his crew looks and reassures them that they hadn’t lost. They only need hours to recuperate and rejoin their fleet, while their enemies need days or weeks for their plans. They begin to head towards the Titan Force headquarters.

Varic teleports in front of Doctor Cryce and introduces Shadow Ark. Cryce, having been startled awake, shoots Ark, and asks questions. Varic interrupts her and briefly explains the situation, before asking her to take Parryl out. He conducts the ritual, healing Parryl quickly. She begins to wake up, and Varic convinces Cryce into giving the headquarters to Shadow Ark. Job done, Varic teleports away.
The system is infested with D’niss, and the two survivors of the Seven Calamities have started the ritual to summon the Swarm-Queen. They begin to clean their way through the system. With the crew working in cohesion, Horizon and her fleet releases a barrage onto Zyn’tharak, destroying it and drawing the attention of one of the Seven Calamities. Xarro'kesh begins duplicating and summoning ants, and the crew coordinates to block and attack the clones. Using Omega’s ability to micro-dive across the system, The Last Horizon appears in front of the Xarro'kesh and unleashes Worldslayer.
Though the crew’s morale is positive, Varic notices that the spell to summon Esh’kinnar is too stable. He takes out Eurias and begins to directly seal out the spell. Initially the attack seems to be working, but the summoning returns to full force. Varic calls for Shyrax’s help, realizing that Alazar is fighting against them. They manage to end the summoning spell, but are too late to stop Esh’kinnaar from entering their dimension. Her song cancels out Varic’s spells, and she takes shelter behind the local sun. She turns a glare onto the ship and knocks the crew out into a trance. Varic quickly goes around to wake the crew as Esh’kinaar begins to throw attacks their way. Varic orders them to retreat to return with reinforcements, and is horrified when Horizon tells him Raion already went to Shadow Ark.
Varic starts fighting his way through the horde of Esh’Kinaar’s soldiers, and sends out a call to Raion. Raion is stunned and happy to see him in the Blue Titan, and he eagerly begins to follow the plan again. With Esh’Kinaar about to act again, Raion backs off and allows Varic to attack and see how far he can push the Blue Titan. His attacks cracks Esh’Kinaar’s outer shell and breaks off an arm, yet she refuses to move from her position over the sun. None of the possibilities as to why are good, and the Titans are limited by fuel, so they decide to go all out and hit her as hard as they can.
She launches her special attack, and the crew takes the opportunity to attack back. Varic clones Sola with Worldslayer, and with only a second to spare, Esh’kinaar is hit six times. With the Swarm-Queen dead, Raion goes after the cocoon, and after a crew vote, Varic follows. They send a few experimental hits on it, and decide to try to break through it. Varic and Raion hit the cocoon together, breaking it and releasing a wave of destructive energy.
